Our valuable member, Prof. Dr. Gülgün Kayalıoğlu, has edited and published the book "The Spinal Cord" from Elsevier Publishing Group together with Charles Watson and George Paxinos. The Spinal Cord covers the development, gross and microscopic anatomy, and connections of the spinal cord, combined with a detailed atlas of sections of the rat and mouse spinal cord. This book will be of interest to spinal cord researchers of all kinds, whether involved in spinal injury research, pain mechanisms, neuropharmacology, or molecular genetics. The Spinal Cord is of particular value to those researchers commencing work on the spinal cord, since it includes introductory material to help orient a new entrant to this field.
