for the "International Committee of Symposia on Morphological Sciences
(ICSMS)".

Şendemir, Vice President of the Turkish Association of Anatomy and
Clinical Anatomy, who is responsible for the international
relationships and the President of our Association Prof. Dr. H.
Hamdi Çelik attended the executive board meeting of the IFAA for the
second time as observers held on 14th September, 2008 in Timisoara
during XX. ISMS Congress. Our Association’s proposal of becoming a
member of IFAA is approved by the executive board but had to be
officially declared in 17th Conference
of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists going
to be held between August 16-20, 2009 in South Africa.

proposal for becoming a member of EFEM was considered in their
executive board meeting held on 12th of September in
